Nurse Practitioner
I was born and raised in Mt. Zion and moved away to Florida after undergrad. I received my undergraduate degrees from Lake Land College and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. After moving to Florida, I worked in the Neuroscience/Stroke unit for a few years, but found my love for surgery after transferring to the Peri-Anesthesia Care Unit. I attended the University of South Florida in Tampa and graduated with my Master’s as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
I instantly knew orthopedics was my specialty after the first week of rotation. I found my biggest interests were in trauma and sports medicine. I am grateful I can assist Dr. Sams and Dr. Sullivan in bringing exceptional care to my hometown community.
In my free time, you will find me spending time with my beloved family and friends, “attempting” to garden, thrifting, and creating new memories with my kids.
