Nurse Practitioner
I am originally from Cerro Gordo and currently reside in rural Oakley. I received my undergraduate nursing degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I worked as a Registered Nurse for 11 years, mostly in the ICU setting. I went on to graduate from Northern Kentucky University with a Master of Science in Nursing -Family Nurse Practitioner degree.
I fell in love with Orthopedic surgery when I was able to observe Dr. Sullivan and Dr. Sams during my last clinical rotation for graduate school. I enjoy being able to help improve patients’ quality of life by relieving or alleviating their pain with both surgical and non-surgical treatment.
In my free time, you can usually find me at ball fields or in gyms watching my children play. My husband and I have 3 children who keep us very busy with all of their activities. I also enjoy running with my dogs, working out, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
